Himal Hydro boasts of its unchallenged capability in Nepal for the construction of Ropeways.
Starting with the Andhikhola ropeway in 1984 for transporting construction materials for the project, Himal Hydro has constructed various ropeways of various lengths and carrying capacity for goods and passengers including the Manakamana Cable Car.
The company designed and conducted the feasibility study of more than half a dozen ropeways in remote areas, including one in the remotest part of Nepal the Karnali zone.
Himal Hydro has working relationship with major European companies of this field including HMV-Norway. We are the only company in Nepal with the capability and experience of having undertaken ropeway projects from planning
