Road & Bridge
Roads are the backbone of national development. Road construction, particularly in Nepal with unstable surface geomorphology and steep gradients demands a very high degree of integrated excellence in civil, geological, hydro-geological, mechanical and geo-technical engineering.
Himal Hydro has equally exhibited its expertise in building roads and bridges. Himal Hydro's capability can be best described in terms of quick mobilisation and timely construction. We have constructed roads in some of the most difficult hilly terrain with a variety of unstable geological features in Nepal. We have also built numerous steel, RCC and suspension bridges.
Himal Hydro has completed construction of:
- Nayapul Kirne Road 22 km
- Jiri Palati Road 25 km
- Underground road pavement in access tunnel leading to Khimti I powerhouse
- 5 steel bridges (Callender Hamilton)
- A number of RCC bridges and culverts
- A number of suspension and suspended bridges
